In the light of the heightened Corona Virus/Covid 19 national health emergency and in order to be socially responsible, we’ve decided to make a major change to the status of this year’s 24th National BBQ Week™ – May 25-31st.

Originally scheduled to include experiential RoadShows at major Foodie Festivals and County Shows, as well as media, social, web, promotional and trade support, we have, based on the latest Gov.UK advice and timescale, decided to cancel the experiential RoadShows part of the campaign for this year.

However we will still be running all the other National BBQ Week activities across media, social, web, promotional and trade support and will be, for the first time be including our unique new Social Sampling™ activity through our Grocery Gratis™ programme more details of this and the revised National BBQ Week activity will follow shortly.

Chief Guru, Brian George said “Naturally we’re disappointed that we’ve had to take such a drastic step, in this, National BBQ Week’s 24th year, but, given the circumstances, we honestly believe that there really wasn’t another viable choice and more importantly, that it’s the right thing to do!”
